THE STORY SO FAR:

Romala Elito meets up with a comrade, an Elito, and warns him about Queen Margeta. Tarus, the friend, meets the queen only to discover Romala’s warning was correct—she was only after the crown.

Romala removed his cloak, folded it and opened the case at the back of his motorbike. He put it in and closed it to then open a side panel.

Unbuckling the belt which held his sword, he folded it three times into a carry size and put that into the panel.

He didn’t bother to close it when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

“You’re right,” was all Tarus said as Romala swung round.

“What did she say?”

“She’s only after one thing.”

“Let me guess…the Deceran crown.”

Tarus nodded. “I want in.
